Stipline LLC ("Stipline," "we," "us") is a New York limited liability company. We help car dealerships follow up with customers who asked to hear from them, by text message, email and phone. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers this website and the messages and calls we send on behalf of the dealerships we work with ("dealer clients").
Information we collect
- From dealer clients and website visitors: the name, business name, email, phone number and any notes you send us, for example through the demo request form or by email.
- About customers of our dealer clients: the contact details and vehicle interest a customer gave the dealership (for example name, mobile number, email and the vehicle they asked about), plus the messages, call notes and appointment details created while we follow up for that dealership.
- Calls: calls placed or answered by our calling assistant may be recorded and transcribed so the dealership can follow up accurately and so we can check quality.
- Website: this site uses no advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
How we use information
- To respond to a customer's inquiry for the dealership they contacted: answering questions, setting appointments and callbacks, and sending reminders.
- To give our dealer clients reports on lead follow-up.
- To respond to demo requests and run our business.
- To meet legal obligations and honor opt-out and do-not-call requests.
We publish only aggregate totals on our website (for example, the number of calls placed). We never publish customer names, phone numbers, recordings or deal details.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to any third party. Information may be shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our phone carrier and messaging platform), and only to deliver them.

How we share information
- With the dealership you contacted, which owns its customer relationship and records.
- With service providers who help us operate (for example phone, texting, email, hosting and transcription providers), under obligations to protect it and use it only for us.
- When required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal information.
Credit information
Stipline does not make credit decisions, does not quote rates or terms, and does not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth or credit scores by text or phone. Credit applications are handled by the dealership and its lenders under their own privacy notices.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed to serve the dealership, meet legal requirements and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or ask us not to call you and we'll add you to our do-not-call list.
- Email us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, subject to the dealership's legal record-keeping needs.
Children
Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
